The sleek, aggressive styling of the Ferretti 72 made most American motor yachts of her era look more than a little conservative. With her flowing lines, wide flybridge, and teardrop salon windows, the 72 was simply in a class by herself when it came to pure sex appeal. Built on a high performance modified-V hull with prop pockets and a generous 18- foot beam, her lavish four-stateroom floorplan is arranged with the galley up, two steps above the salon and opposite the formal dining area. Each stateroom has its own head, and crew quarters include berths for three. Like all Ferretti yachts, the interior is a blend of fine-quality woodwork, designer furnishings, and meticulous fit and finish. The flybridge can be accessed from an aft deck staircase or through the pilothouse. Aft, the extended swim platform serves as a garage for a PWC that can be launched and retrieved by the standard bridge davit.
